The 2010 NAICUSE Summer Workshop will be held
in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya. We have been
working hard to plan a thoughtful and informative program along with
various fun activities. You will especially want to check out the
wonderful range of activities for children listed under Camp Hyatt
Tamaya. These activities will give your children an introduction to
Southwest Native American culture. Teenagers will find the three
different swimming pools a treat.

Directions:
From the Albuquerque Airport (Approximately 26
miles) and South from I-25:
Exit to the right as you leave Sunport Blvd. Stay towards the right
as the on-ramp to I-25 North will be on your right. Enter and follow
I-25 North towards Santa Fe to Exit #242. Turn left on to Hwy
550(44) West toward Bernalillo. Proceed 2.4 miles to the
intersection of Tamaya Blvd. and Hwy 550 just past the Santa Ana
Star Casino. Turn right at Tamaya Blvd. and proceed 1.2 miles to the
3-way stop (Tuyuna Trail). Turn right and proceed 1.3 miles to the
Resort. Proceed to the front entrance courtyard.
Approximate driving time: 30 minutes
From the Santa Fe Airport (Approximately 42
miles):
Travel East on Airport Blvd. to Cerrillos Road. Turn right on
Cerrillos Road and follow to the entrance of I-25. Take I-25 South
toward Albuquerque to Exit #242. Turn right on to Hwy 550(44) West
toward Bernalillo. Proceed 2.4 miles to the intersection of Tamaya
Blvd. and Hwy 550 just past the Santa Ana Star Casino. Turn right at
Tamaya Blvd. and proceed 1.2 miles to the 3-way stop (Tuyuna Trail).
Turn right and proceed 1.3 miles to the Resort. Proceed to the front
entrance courtyard.
Approximate driving time: 40 minutes
If you prefer not to rent a car, there is
limited shuttle/car service. To / From ABQ Airport:
Sandia Shuttle:
Service is offered to and from the hotel
Cost: $27.00. Be aware there are stops along
the way, and Tamaya is the last stop.
New Mexitours:
Service is offered to and from the Albuquerque airport and the
hotel, via vans or sedans.
Cost: $40.00 for the first person, $10.00 each
additional person within the same party. Please contact the
Concierge for private sedan pricing.
Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with pick-up
every hour on the hour. Private sedans are also available after 6:00
p.m. upon request.

Planned Activities
We will be hosting our annual golf tournament, horseback riding and
book club. In addition, NAICUSE have volunteered to make
arrangements for white water rafting, hot air ballooning and fly
fishing. Tennis, croquet match, float trip and skeet shooting can be
arranged if someone volunteers to be the organizer. Contact Carol

Camp Hyatt
